Steavenson Falls is a star attraction at night under lights but by day there are many less known but truly beautiful waterfalls to visit. Don't miss Keppel's and Cora Lynn Falls.   Why not walk along Treefern gully track to Steavensons falls, it follows the cascading river through the fern filled forests.   Visit the "Land of the giant's" at Camberville. Walk through the magnificent old growth Eucalypt forests, find waterfalls and lush glades of Tree Ferns and be amazed by the giant mountain Ash trees. This is the site of some of Victoria's tallest trees.   Lady Talbot forest drive follows the cascading Taggerty river. A great place to enjoy a picnic. Make sure you do the Beeches rainforest walk, a special experience amongst ancient and mystical rainforest.   Complete some of the short walks near the village. Don't miss Beauty spot and Island hop!

This is the View from Keppels lookout, only a 5 minute drive or an invigorating walk from Marysville.

Visit the spectacular Cathedral Ranges.   A hard walk to the top is rewarded with inspiring views.   Be challenged by the rock scramble up to Mt. Sugarloaf up through Well's cave.   Or ... Sit down by the river and have a picnic. SNOW!! Lake Mountain is only a 25 minute drive from Marysville. The easy sealed road drive is a great experience in itself, the alpine scenery is spectacular.   Ski on the groomed trails amongst the snow gums and across the alpine meadows or just get a toboggan and have great fun on the prepared slopes!! ...and you have just got to make a snowman!! Explore Gallipoli park right in the middle of town. With the Steavenson river on it's edge the park is a great place for a picnic. Buy yourself a treat in the old fashioned Lolly shop.       Visit the Blueberry farm at Narbethong. Enjoy a delicious Devonshire tea. They sell a great range of jams, berry's and wine. Also pick fresh berry's from December to March.         Feed the ducks by the lake   Kick the footy or play cricket   Play Tennis   Be challenged by the BMX track   Try to catch a fish in the river or in the lake.   Enjoy the beautiful setting.

Only a short beautiful drive from Marysville is the Rubicon Valley. Bike riding. There are some great tracks to explore on a mountain bike starting from Marysville. You can also ride on trails at Lake Mountain (out of snow season!). You can do some excellent road riding and take in the beautiful scenery…..all without the hassles of city traffic!!   The BMX track is also a real challenge.   Browse around the shops for a special memento or gift.
